This policy describes how Avalon Team ("Avalon", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our text messaging (SMS/MMS) services, including the AI assistant messaging available through our Roy application. It supplements our general privacy policy.
Information we collect
When you use our text messaging services we collect your mobile phone number, the content of the messages you send to and receive from our AI assistant, and message metadata such as timestamps and delivery status.
How we use your information
We use this information solely to deliver the messaging service you requested: routing your messages to the AI assistant, returning its responses to you, honoring opt-out requests, providing customer support, and meeting our legal and carrier compliance obligations.
Sharing your information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or message content.
We share information only with the service providers required to operate the messaging service, such as our telecommunications carrier and messaging provider, and only to the extent necessary to transmit your messages. We may also disclose information where required by law or valid legal process.
Consent and opt-out
We send messages only to mobile numbers that have consented to receive them. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that number. Reply HELP at any time for assistance.
Data retention
We retain message content and metadata only as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy legal, accounting, and carrier compliance requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information described above. No method of transmission over mobile networks is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our messaging services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect mobile numbers or message content from children under 13.
